Not sure about therapy?
Schedule a free 30 minute consultation to check the fit.
You probably wouldn't hire someone to remodel your house, or take care of your kids, without at least meeting them to talk it over first, right? Good decision. Apply the same principle here. Make an informed decision. Schedule a free 30 minute consultation with me... call (425) 345-5553.
Therapy is the most helpful when the fit between the client and therapist is good. It's hard to know if that 'fit' is there when picking a name and face from an online directory. It is a good start, but may not always work out. A consultation appointment is a good way to check out the 'fit.'
In the consultation appointment we can talk generally about what has you considering therapy, you can ask questions, and get a feel for me and my style. You'll be trying determine if you think that you'll feel comfortable working with me.
Think of it like you interviewing me for a job (because you are), a very personal one, and it's a chance for you to ask the questions you think will help you see if we might work well together. We can also discuss logistical issues such as scheduling and payment that need sorted before deciding on a course of action.
If it doesn't work out, or the 'fit' isn't good, I'll be happy to refer you to another local professional. No hard feelings. Really. It's most important to me that you find someone with whom you can work well and thrive.
