Who I see for psychotherapy and why they come in...

I am currently accepting new therapy clients into my Marysville, Washington practice.

I work with adults for individual therapy, and sometimes couples. I offer appointments days, evenings, and some Saturdays.

I welcome the opportunity to work with people of all genders, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, spiritual/religious beliefs, and sexual identities and orientations.

The most common struggles the clients I see cope with are:
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • after-effects of trauma/abuse
  • feeling like emotions are out of control
  • addictions/dependencies
  • relationship problems
  • loneliness or feeling unable to connect with others
  • difficulty managing anger
  • grief/loss
  • identity development (figuring out the answer to "Who am I?")

I also might be a good choice for you if someone has recommended you try Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT. I have extensive training and experience using this method.

There are numerous other issues that people hope to address in therapy, these are just those I work with most commonly. If you don't identify with any of these, that doesn't mean we cannot work together. Give me a call and we can discuss it.

I also offer mental health/psychological evaluations on a limited basis. Please contact me by phone for more information.
